I’m a 30 something mum mad about my 2 boys who are 13 and 8 and our new baby boy who is currently cooking and due in December! I’ve just spent 5 years studying to be a registered nurse and midwife and have the best job in the world! We are packing up the family early in 2015 to head to France for a year – welcome to our world!
We are about to start an exciting new adventure moving to the Dorgdogne, France. I decided to start this site to blog about the adventures that will unfold – the house hunting, the renovations, French life and all the wonders of the food, the wine and the lifestyle. One of the things that I’ve missed about Europe is the true changing of the seasons so I look forward to re-discovering and celebrating each part of the year in France as it comes around. We want to have ‘the good life’ – the chooks, the veggie garden, the solar panels – I just can’t wait to see what unfolds!
I have a new love of creating – sewing, crochet and knitting so I’ll be sharing what I’m up to there as well! I’m really looking forward to rediscovering French food and produce as well so will share my discoveries on the way.
Welcome to my blog – I hope you enjoy sharing our adventures! If you want to keep up to date with when I have new posts, just subscribe on the link at the top of the blog.
